Xiangxi has four provincial five-star rural tourism areas

Recently, Donghe Hua’an in Jishou City, Panlong Taoli Resort in Fenghuang County, Chenjiapo Village in Yongshun County, and Huazhidu Ecological Agriculture Sightseeing Park in Longshan County were included among the 2024 Provincial Five-star Rural Tourism Areas announced by the Hunan Provincial Department of Culture and Tourism. Donghe Hua’an, located in Zhaiyang Village of Jishou City, is only 8 kilometers away from the city center. With beautiful natural scenery, it is a new type of leisure tourism destination that integrates ecological sightseeing, parent-child study tours, leisure and entertainment, and cultural creativity. Chenjiapo, located in Lingxi Town of Yongshun County, is surrounded by a sea of bamboo. There is a winding bluestone walking trail connecting the wooden houses with grey tiles. Besides, plum blossoms are planted throughout the village. The Huazhidu Ecological Agriculture Sightseeing Park, located in Sanyuan Community, Shigao Town, Longshan County, has beautiful mountains and clear waters. It is a great place to enjoy peach blossoms in March, peonies in May, and lotus flowers in June. Panlong Taoli Resort, located in Longjing Village, Alaying Town, Fenghuang County, is an ecological leisure estate that integrates catering, leisure and entertainment, planting and breeding, mountain spring swimming pools, and high-end homestay inns.
